Designs

Design shall be the appearance of the whole or a part of a product resulting from the features of, the line, contour, colour, shape, material or texture of the product itself or its ornamentation. Design shall be protected provided that it is new and has an individual character.

Duration of protection and renewal fees

The term of protection of a registered designs covers a period of five-year as from the date of filing. This period may be prolonged in total up to twenty five-year by means of renewing in five -year periods.
